Want to donate to our troops in Iraq? A unique opportunity
July 2nd, 2008
Although our soldiers receive three full meals every day, they miss the flavors and smells of home cooking and need other items.
One of the goals of the monthly East Coachella Valley Peace Vigil in La Quinta has been to insure that dedication and courage of our soldiers in Iraq is always remembered. As a concrete step, the Vigil has begun to collect and ship small-sized donations for our soldiers.
We are in direct contact with an Army officer in Iraq who has agreed to distribute donated items to the men and women under his command. No intermediary agencies, just person to person. JOIN US IN OUR EFFORT!
