About 50 young people and 25 adults attended the Kids  Geology Nature Walk on January 9.  Franklin School teacher, Mrs. Healey, organized the event, on behalf of the Stewards of the Fred Wolff Bear Creek Nature Preserve and the City of La Quinta.  Everyone crossed the channel, collected rocks, made a sculpture, and naturally PUT THEM BACK.  Students received extra credit from their schools.  Here are some quick clips:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3JHumQWk3Q
