La Quinta Cove

The LQ Museum, LQ Arts Foundation, and the LQ Historical Society have  joined to bring an unusual series of golf-related events to our Museum.  In addition to the exhibit that is now open, mark these dates on your calendar (all free to one and all)

January 8: 5 p.m. opening reception and meet Mario Cesario, noted golf club maker for the stars

January 9: 10 a.m. Interactive golf activities for youth ages 6-16, “The First Tee”.  Limited to the first 30 reservations, call 777-7170

January 11 Round table discussion with Marion Cesario, Marlene Hagge, Dan Poppers, Greg Cesario, Ted Lyford, Jeff Johnson, Fred Scherzer, Dave Evans, Ken Venturi and others from 2-4 p.m.

January 14 Golf Fitness wih Dr. Hashimoto noon – 1 p.m.

January  23: Lecture by Judy Vossler on La Quinta’s Golf Legacy  10 – noon

January  30  Larry Bohannan of the Desert Sun will talk on “Reflections on the Hope Classic and Golf in LQ” at 10:30.
