To what area specific are you referring? The irrigation system is ON and there’s a contract to maintain the vegetation. If there’s a neglected area, the City (and the Stewards of the FWBC Nature Preserve) need to know about it. THere is lots of overwatering along the Trail which we are trying to get regulated. There never was much irrigation in the Preserve itself (only up at the top). Most of the loss inside the Preserve is due to off-roading and dumping over the past years. Most of this has stopped since the fence was installed.
Hi Mod….I refer to the area directly behind my home at the juncture of Madero/Montezuma; both north and south of this area. There are neglected drippers, abandoned tree stakes, etc.
It’s been this way for more than a couple of years.

Too bad the city quit maintaining the vegetation and irrigation system … quite some time ago.
