As reported by the Desert Sun, the City of La Quinta is considering utility undergrounding in the Cove. 

According to the Desert Sun’s article (La Quinta utility lines may go underground | MyDesert.com | The Desert Sun) this effort is not going to be free for the Cove’s homeowners.

So tonight question is: What is your opinion in the matter?

    Execelent idea, it is time to underground everything!

    This will be a monumental construction project as the utilities are all in the back of the Cove lots and will have to be brought to the front. I am in favor of better views but not looking forward to the disruption and the cost.

    Be sure and attend the study session on Tuesday, March 4 at 4:00 to hear what the issues are, and what the projected cost will be to each homeowner.

    Yes, underground the utilities.
    When will we get NATURAL GAS in the upper cove.
    Propane at nearly $5 per gallon is killing us!
