For $15 a year you can’t beat the work out room at the Boys and Girls Club. Treadmills, lifecycles, weights, TV’s and air conditioned. I believe you go to city hall to get your ID card.
The person looking for an evening gym should look into the Coachella Parks & Rec facility. There is one in LaQuinta, Indio, and Palm Desert. Cost is only $10 a year (yes, a year!) for residents. Exercise equipment, gym, walking track–quite lovely,
Hey, Barbara. Where is the CVRP facility in LQ? I only know of the beautiful Community Center in Frances Hack Community Park. But it has no equipment, etc., so you must be talking of another site. Where would that be????
There is no fitness center at the La Quinta Community Center operated by CVRPD. The CVRPD facilities at Indio and Palm Desert are $10 a year for those residents ONLY… (Indio and PD only) La Quinta residents would have to pay $25 to join them and have to drive all the way over there… with the price of gas, who wants to do that?
