City’s website has some great photos of the demonstration signs along Nogales (Obregon and west three blocks). Take a look. And while you’re at it, contact them to let THEM know what you think. I’m sure they are keeping a log of responses, so be SURE to “speak up”.

I’ll have to do a driveby; it almost looks by the photos that the City may well have finally addressed the placement of the street signs….as things are now, the intersection signs are much too far “inward” from the actual corner to allow headlights to find them.

Seeing is definitely believing. Yes, the positioning closer to the center of the intersection is one of the variables we need to comment on. However, these signs are SO obvious, only the limbs can hide them….

These street signs are the answer! The answer to navigation in the cove as well as the street light issue. No need to ruin our dark sky ordinance with street lights, also no need to dig in the pocketbook to pay for them. We ALL know that the street lights do not deter crime. If we can get residents to light their property in a correct manner, that issue will be dead. Thank you City of La Quinta and let’s go for it!

Did a driveby yesterday…..great improvement. I’m going to put my two cents, thumbs up, to the City.

Yes, the signs are an improvement however they should be closer to the street.Driving at night almost requires one to stop at each street to illuminate the sign before continuing. “I” don’t want street lights but nvigating the cove should be easier, quicker and safer. Thanks for the effort.
