These young scientists bring to a close the summer-long “Junior Paleontologists” program.  AND the last few days to see our famous/infamous dinosaurs is upon us.  This exciting “Jurassic Encounters” comes to an end (extinction?) on July 30, next Saturday.  So if you haven’t seen it, don’t be left out.  If you HAVE seen it, come down for another look.  Monday – Saturday from 10 – 4 and it’s still FREE!

Did anyone see those beautiful blue tents and many small tents at the Frances Hack Community Park on Saturday morning? This reporter forgot the camera, but it was a beautiful sight to see the wonderful camp grounds on the ball field sponsored by the Desert Recreation District.  If anyone has a photo, we would be happy to post it.

BIG opening night at the Museum

Here’s another peek at the wonderful exhibit opening at the Museum tomorrow (February 4).  First Friday marks the grand opening from 5-7:00.  Be among the first 200 to enter and you get a…….Jurassic surprise!
