“Where the Wild Things Are” will be the first movie this Friday (4th) in Old Town on the Event Lawn, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Bring the kids and the grannies. Don’t forget chairs(low profile) or blankets.

Old Town movies begin on Friday at 8:00. Bring the family and see “Disney Earth”. These will be the first Friday of every month through October 1. Free to all, sponsored by Old Town, City of LQ and Time Warner Cable.
Budweiser Clydesdales came to Old Town

The Budweiser Clydesdale horses put on quite a display at Old Town on Friday (not Saturday, as misspoken in the video). They were on their way to The Stagecoach and then back to the Meniffee area for R&R.

A sold-out crowd enjoyed plenty of LQ restaurant samples and selected wines in Old Town. This first-time event was a huge success, as witnessed by the running-out of tickets, some of the wines, and some of the food. This one will be repeated next year, wouldn’t you bet on that? Kids’ Nature Walk 9:00 Another great opportunity for young people to get their hands into nature’s wonder, this time on the topic of Desert Plants. Kids will study plants from the roots up, and have fun doing it. Some teachers are giving extra credit for this activity, so check it out. Meet at the rest stop at Ensenada and Montezuma.
