La Quinta Cove

Some people leave their cats outside in the heat with no water. Also, there is a cat killer up here in the cove, people should be keeping their cats inside the house.  Also, other people let their dogs outside, in their front yards without a lease.  These dogs chase you when you are walking and could get run over by a car.  Can we write a message in reference to this subject?  NOTE TO SD:  Fortunately the killed cats are NOT in the Cove, but in North La Quinta and Bermuda Dunes.  However, we must all be vigilant about the safety of our animals—- Moderator #2
