La Quinta Cove

Did you know that oral histories of ALL veterans of military service and campaigns are being collected for the Library of Congress?  Yes, indeed.  The La Quinta Museum, the La Quinta Historical Society, and Riverside County Library are collaborating on the “Veterans History Project”.  An informational meeting is being held on Friday, January 23, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the Museum.  Veterans and their families are invited to find out how to contribute to this important historical collection.  There will be light refreshments and speakers from the Historical Society and the PS Air Museum.  Free to the public.
